Extract Content From Copy-Protected PDFs

I've come to realize that I have no respect at all for copy-protection schemes. As soon as I see one, I wonder how I can get around it. Case in point: The Friends of Ed book, Foundation Flash CS3 for Designers by Tom Green and David Stiller.

Long story short, I wanted to copy a list from the PDF of an on-line sample chapter to put into a link in the section on Flash text in the Type section of Web Publishing. But the PDF is "locked." A bit of Googling turned up a little application called Text-Mining Tool, which extracts unformatted text from a number of sources, including "locked" PDFs.

The entry with the pirated text is here.
